These terms and conditions apply to all transactions on www.cessnockbicyclecompany.com.au. CBC may change these terms from time to time without notice. Changes will apply to any subsequent orders received. These terms and conditions do not in any way affect your statutory rights.
Warranty
Goods supplied by www.cessnockbicyclecompany.com.au are covered by statutory warranties and any other warranties offered by the manufacturer of the goods. No other warranties are offered or implied.
Warranty is not offered on parts and accessories not fitted by us.

Dispatch & Deliveries
Click & Collect is available from the store in Cessnock, NSW. Please allow one hour for processing and picking.
All orders received before midday will be despatched same-day, Mon-Fri.
Orders placed on weekends will be shipped on the next business day.
Sales made on www.cessnockbicyclecompany.com.au and nominated to be collected instore must be completed within seven days. CBC reserves the right to return goods to stock and process a refund where goods remain uncollected after seven days.
If you purchase a product and are not satisfied we will replace or refund the item within 30 days. Please contact our staff at webstore@cessnockbicyclecompany.com.au and tell us that you’d like to return an item.
There are conditions for return items:
The item cannot be a Special Order product.
The item cannot be a Clearance product.
The item cannot be Electrical Goods.
The item has not been:
– worn or damaged (clothing and apparel)
– has not been fitted to a bike (parts and accessories)
– has not been ridden in any way (bicycles)
and is in resale condition.
We will not exchange any clothing or apparel items that appear to have been worn, washed or tampered with.
We have limited space in the shop to store customer bikes. Completed service and repair jobs should be collected within three days.
CBC reserves the right to charge a daily storage fee on any job left for more than five days after completion. We’ll advise you of this by text message or email.
After a week of storage fees, we’ll send you an updated invoice by email.
After two weeks of storage fees, your bike will be moved to off-site storage and you’ll need to contact us 24 hours in advance to collect your bike. We’ll also send you an updated invoice by email.
After three weeks of storage fees we’ll notify you by email or text message that you have 28 days to collect your bike, after which the bike will be sold in accordance with the Uncollected Goods Act 1995. You can find more information at the Fair Trading website.
Special Order products cannot be returned or exchanged. This includes bikes, parts, accessories and apparel ordered in to fulfil a specific customer request. Please make your choices carefully.
Items marked as ‘CLEARANCE’ cannot be returned or exchanged. These items are offered at discounted prices, so please make your choices carefully.
In the event that you have received a faulty item and require a refund, please contact our staff at webstore@cessnockbicyclecompany.com.au and outline that you’re reporting a FAULTY item in the subject of your email. We will need the following details from you in order to proceed with replacing your faulty item:

If you require a new bike on Special Order we’ll send you a quote and ask you for a deposit. Please make your selection carefully because your deposit is not refundable if you change your mind or don’t like the bike you’ve chosen.
Once the bike has arrived into our store we’ll ask you for a delivery date and when it’s built we’ll ask you to pick it up and pay the balance.
Future Delivery New Bikes will require a $500 deposit. At the time of deposit, a Delivery Window of 90 days will be provided to you and noted on the sale.
If you change your mind prior to the Delivery Window, your deposit will be converted to Store Credit.
If CBC meet the Delivery Window but you change your mind, your deposit will be converted to Store Credit.
If CBC fail to meet the Delivery Window, you can request a full deposit refund.
When you buy a bike from CBC, it’ll be fully built and checked by our QA team who will ensure it’s safe and ready to ride.
We’ll deliver it to you in the store, and you take legal possession of the bike when it leaves the store.
If your bike has a quick-release front wheel, you can ask us to show you how to safely remove and install a wheel for transport. For insurance and liability reasons, we can’t help you to disassemble your bike to fit it inside your car.
If you’re not able to easily get your new bike home, please ask us to deliver it, our delivery fee is $25 to Cessnock/Kurri/Lovedale/Millfield. We can deliver to other areas, just ask us for a quote.
Yes, you can choose to have your bike delivered in the box. You take legal possession of the bike when it leaves the store.
The bike should be assembled by an experienced bicycle technician who will ensure that all components are installed and adjusted correctly, and the manufacturer’s torque settings have been followed.
Before making a warranty claim, we’ll ask you to provide proof that the bike was assembled by an experienced bicycle technician.

All used bikes have been quality checked by our technicians and are ready for use.
Used bikes don’t come with warranty or guarantees unless specifically noted in the sale conditions. All used bikes should be fully inspected by the customer prior to purchase. Test rides on used bikes are encouraged.
CBC requires your credit/debit card details to ensure all your orders are processed efficiently.
All transactions take place via a secure server link (SSL) utilizing the latest encryption technology. We DO NOT hold details of your Credit/Debit cards on our database.
CBC is committed to protecting your privacy. We only collect information about you to process your order and we do not use these details to send you unsolicited information. We will never pass your personal or order details to any other company, other than to fulfill the delivery of your order.
When you make a purchase from www.cessnockbicyclecompany.com.au you will be asked to provide your name, email address, billing address, delivery address, phone number and credit card or debit card number. Details of all your order transactions will be collected and stored.
