Freehub & Pawl Service

Description

When your freehub gets loud, it needs a service.

We’ll remove the axle and detach the freehub, then check the bearings, pawls and hub ratchet for wear. If necessary we’ll replace the pawls and after cleaning we’ll reinstall everything with fresh grease and tension your axle correctly.

Often we remove the freehub and discover the bearings are worn; we’ll then do a full ‘Wheel Birthday’ and change out all wheel and freehub bearings plus new pawls.
