Headset Service – Internal routing

Description

For bikes with internal headset cable routing only eg ACROS headsets in Focus or Cannondale bikes.

When your heaset starts moving and clunking, it’s time for a service.

We’ll disconnect the front brake and remove the forks from your bike. After cleaning all the components we’ll assess the top bearing for replacement.

If top bearing replacement is required, add the following service items:

• Hydraulic brake hose install + bleed
• Cable Install – Dropper Post
• Cable Install – Shift Internal

If the top bearing is OK then we’ll replace the lower bearing if necessary and assemble your headset with water-resistant grease.

We’ll adjust spacer stacks if needed and retension your headset after aligning your bars.
