Install Tubeless Tyre

Description

Tubeless tyres are more work at home (maintenance!) but less work on the trail (self-sealing punctures!) so for many riders they’re a no-brainer. Installing them is straight-forward if you follow the process.

• Remove the old tyre and check the rim
• Check tubeless tape and valve body – replace if damaged or old
• Install tyre and inflate temporarily to bead the tyre correctly
• Fill with 100mls of Stan’s sealant
• Install new valve core and inflate
• Spin and test.

Often a new tyre will need a ride or two before the tubeless sealant has filled all of the gaps so be sure to carry a pump!
